When I first saw the Scotland loves Anime 2011 advertisement, I seriously did not imagine that the festival would get such an impressive line-up with so many European premieres, so many kudos to the organisers!
Having Jonathan Clements give a brief introduction about each movie and its directors was a nice old-school touch, especially in a converted theatre turned moviehouse, and gave so much more insight about the anime industry and its workings.
Probably my favourtie movie from the festival. Made me wonder why Hollywood gets
all the glory and money when an anime about suicide can make such a
subtle but powerful statement about family and friendship on one's life.
